How can Para Styles be inserted to a Pages v5 Document

In the previous version of Pages you could insert a set of Paragraph Styles from one document into another document. It does not appear to be possible in the new version of Pages

Also, newly created Para Styles do not include or retain bullet point settings in the new version of Pages

Can anyone suggest a solution to either or both of these issues
