I so regret downloading the latest GB.
Looks good but have lost most of my AUs and tons and tons of instruments that come with them.
At this point I dont care anymore to figure the **** thing out.
So while waiting for further patience and energy, if anyone has an idea I would WELCOME your input.

First of all, keep in mind that the new version of GB does not overwrite the old version. You should still find the GB 6.0 version in your applications folder.
If you think you are missing some of the GB instruments and loops, go to GarageBand > Download more sounds to find them.
Any third-party AU's you have may need to be updated. The new GB is 64-bit so any 32-bit AU's will not be recognized unless you get an adapter such as 32 Lives or update to a 64-bit version.
