After Update my HP will not scan properly.
It scans and shows the item to be scanned but:
This is what I am getting when I try to save it to the desktop:
Any thoughts, if it is an operations issue or if I need to change settings

I suppose you have this corrected by now, I had the same problem, removed the app from the dock and opened the app in the app folder, it worked fine then.
The problem I have now is the pics and docs are not viewing properly after saving them in the folders, they do view fine after scanned in the HP app. though
No, No one has responded to me.
What I am currently doing is after the scan, the document shows up in the window and I am screen shotting it and saving that. For what I need the quality is acceptable..
Having said that, it is still not right.

There are others as well having the same problems posting comments and replies, seems to be a Mavericks issue, I am trying to update the software through HP, not working so far, might have to call support, and PAY!

If you find anything out please post it, I am 70 years old and I do not need it on a daily basis so what I am doing works for me, but I have to believe that it must be very frustrating for others.

Turns out this is a known problem by HP, you are doing what they recommend til they figure it out
There is an update available that fixes the duplicate printing I experienced as well
