After restarting the server after having upgraded to Mavericks, I am getting the following error when trying to connect to the wiki or XCode sites:

Caught exception "Connection to DB failed" [CSDatabaseError] executing route /app-context/xcode/:

The normal websites work fine. Also, the XCode and Wiki sites were working fine for a day before I restarted the server this morning (it got hung up, probably having to do something with this error, and I had to force a hard restart).

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

After making sure all the configuration settings seemed correct, I tried restarting again. Looks like the wiki is back up and running. I will keep an eye on this over the next few days.

    Hello.

I'm getting this all of a sudden:

Caught exception "Connection to DB failed" [CSDatabaseError] executing route /app-context/wiki/:

    13  libsystem_pthread.dylib             0x00007fff84346fc9 thread_start + 13

I've tried to delete Server.app, checking my settings, re-installed Mavericks and I still get the message as soon as I start the Wiki service and try to access it.

    Any ideas? Anyone?

After a Java update installed and I rebooted the 10.9.1 server, the Wiki produces the following error. Where are the settings to check?

Caught exception "Connection to DB failed" [CSDatabaseError] executing route /app-context/wiki/:

I have the exact same exception as Van Ly. However, it was not after a Java update. I upgraded to latest Mavericks end of Feb 2014 and Server (3.0.3 -- I believe). Initially, the server upgrade would hang on 'updating services'. After deleting server and renaming Library/Server to Library/Server.old, I downloaded server and everything seemed to be okay. I moved the Wiki folder from the backup into the new Library/Server folder. I went to to browser to access the Wiki and after waiting awhile looking at the 'Wiki is starting' message, I got the exact same exception that Van Ly has listed (above). No idea what to do. Looks systemic Apple. Anybody have any suggestions to help Van Ly an me?

    Hi there,

after a reboot of my server everything works again ...

  • txkus Level 1 Level 1 (0 points)

Rebooted many times to no avail. I still have the problem and a lot of wasted time building a wiki for my business.
