I deleted songs on iTunes but they're still on my iPhone - how do I get rid of them?

Before iOS7 all I had to do was delete them from iTunes and then click "no" when prompted to transfer purchases from my phone to my library when I synced and they would be gone, but I don't get that message anymore and I don't know how to keep the songs off my phone. There are about 300 I deleted so I don't want to have to go through my phone and manually delete all of them. Also, I saw somewhere that turning off "show all music" in settings works but it's already off for me... What do I do? Thanks
