Trying to do a clean install of Firefox. Will not open due to "missing profile". Firefox website suggests starting profile manager through terminal, but this returns error message:
Error: Access was denied while trying to open files in your profile directory.

Can't find profile manager using spotlight. where/what is it?
MacBook Air (13-inch Late 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9)
