Where did the formatting button toolbar go in Numbers 3.0?

I am trying to make a spreadsheet and I used to use the toolbar that included buttons to format selected areas into Currency, add a checkbox, and move the decimal that is shown to the right or left. I just started using the newest version of numbers and can't find it anywhere. It seems like I should just be missing something that is probably easy to get to, but I have not been able to find it yet. I saw some of the options in the Cell formatting sidebar, but it is not as easy as having the buttons on the toolbar.
