Hi everybody, yesterday i have installed maverick in my macbook white 2010. Today, after didn't use my mac for 20 hours, the trackpad is going crazy. It moves and click alone without any human contact. Can maverik create this problem?

i got the same problem. i got a 15" early 2011 macbook pro. the external trackpad does crazy things. clicking and moving. i then changed the battery. which didn't help.
I have the same problem in a Macbook Pro 15 Mid 2009... It seems a problem in Maverick because it started when I changed to this OS... Let's see if somebody has a solution
I'm having the same problem after updating to Mavericks on my 13 inch late 2011 MacBook Pro and it drives me crazy. Apple should get us a quick update to fix the trackpad issue !!
I have resolved with a trick. Inclinate macbook to right and push, then inclinate to left and push.
I've got the same problem on my 15'' Macbook Pro after upgrading the OS. Apple Pls solve this problem quick!
yep, I installed Mavericks earlier today, 27" 2011 imac, trackpad has no double tap smart zoom now, freezes whenever i attempt to swipe back to previous pages, really annoying as this is all pretty much second nature to me now so it involves having to close and reopen safari. This after i spent an hour on the phone to Apple support this afternoon after installing Mavericks due to an infuriating keychain assistant glitch. Not impressed.
I called Apple support yesterday. They simply ask me try to reinstall the system -__- But seems doesn't help 😟
I have exactly the same problem, my cursor is crazy after some days with ios mavericks in my macbook pro retina and the last I did before start the problem was intall the new version of skype from the official site, maybe is not the problem but I read already someone who happend the same after that, now I coming back to Lion with time machine, if it's working again i will keep using Lion until Apple give solutions...

I've fund a temporary solution : by a mouse and and disactivating the trackpad....but please Apple hurry!!!!!

somewhat similar problem on my macbook pro 13 mid 2009, I can't drag things anymore by tapping first the object. I can't point and click with a tap on text, so selecting text is now a nightmare, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.
Pretty ugly update on this machine.
