iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.3
try resetting the device power it off then press the sleep/wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears and then release. let the phone start normaly and then test it out
Tried resetting many times, it does not help.
I am having the same problem. Any help from anybody?
This is abit of daram, But try it, it might work. Plug your iPhone into the computer and Restore your iPhone back to a new Phone. Than try going back into the app store and try re-downloading the app that you want.
after it is working then Restore Your iPhone From backup.
Please Remeber to Back-up your iPhone before you do any of this. To make sure that you dont loose data that is on your iPhone.

Hi, I tried to restore it, no luck. Still the blue button to Buy or Download for Free is not there for many Apps
I had the same symptom with an app on my son's iPod Touch. I finally worked out that it was the age restrictions settings. Fruit Ninja has a 4+ rating, so that's not the problem here, but I just thought I'd comment anyway in case it helps someone else.
Double tap Home button, delete the App Store app from multitask-list.
If that didn't help, try testing using the iTunes app to go online.
Hi,
How do you remove the age restrictions in iOS 7, please? I can't see any section that it might be in. I've got the same problem on my sister-in-law's iPad and I remember when I set up her Apple ID I kept having a problem where Apple kept saying she wasn't old enough to have an Apple ID (despite being 40!) so I wonder if it might be related to her problem with the download/buy buttons not being there (in the end I made her an Apple ID on a PC rather than the iPad).
Thanks
Hi Gema. I would think setting up an Apple ID would be unrelated to your device's restriction settings, but there's certainly no harm in checking those settings. Instructions here:

After reading Kalsta's comment, this is what I did to get it to work. The phone that was having this exact same issue had restrictions "on". I disabled restrictions and then all the apps were now showing the download icon. Re-enable restrictions and the download button stayed present. So all in all, disabling and re-enabling restrictions is what worked for me.
Hope this helps!
P.S. This was also a iPhone 4 that had the most recent version of iOS 7 installed as well.
Hi I am using Iphone 5S and have installed the beta version of IOS 8. Having the same issues...cant click on any app and even after searching for an app, cant see the download button. Have tried everything from reset to disabling/re-enabling the restrictions. Any one has any other ideas?
As a developer, you signed an NDA not to discuss beta software in this forum.
Apologies, I meant IOS v7 the last update...phone models got mixed up.
Have you tried backing up and restoring your software?
