When will Aperture support the Nikon 610 NEF file format?

I've been using Aperture to inport my Nikon D7000 NEF files and just upgraded my camera to the Nikon D610. I saw where Aperterure supports the NIkon D600 but not the N610. When with the D610 format be supported? If there are no plans, what other options are available?

Thanks!

Scott

Only Apple can say if and when the D610 will be supported, we're only users like yourself here. Apple never announces this type of thing in advance so you'll just have to be patient for now.

In the meantime you could shoot Raw & JPG, use the JPG's now and when the Raw's are supported switch to those. Hopefully you won't have long to wait.

I just upgraded to the latest version of Aperture because Apple told me it supported the Nikon D610 raw file format. Well, it does NOT. I am hoping there is a setting that I need to turn on, but I have my doubts. I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to a live person about this, but I can attest to the fact that the latest version of Aperture is not importing raw files from a Nikon D610 even though Apple is saying it does. I am very frustrated at this point in time....

When will Aperture support the Nikon 610 NEF file format?
