huawei USB modem

HI i found new USB modem driver. On ML I was using huawei universal v 4.25.05 driver with bulitin connect feature trough network prefs. this driver still work on Mavericks but was little crappy took long time to connect. On device manufacturer I found new driver for MBA 2013 that is working better and is version 4.25.45 link is consumer.huawei.com/en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=17263 named MobileConnectDriver for Mac Book Air 2013 from 31th august 2013. It connects faster but like previous driver it is not showing time on menu bar like in ML. where can i enable time for menu bar?

I found the drivers for my Huawei E3372 4G LTE (Megafon) USB dongle on the Huawei support site here - http://m.huawei.com/enmobile/consumer/mobile-broadband/dongles/detail/e3372.htm

just tested it on MBP 2011 with Mavericks, it is working also 🙂

hey. it is E176, very old model. i use it without mobile connect app. just directly dialing trough network settings or trough menu bar icon. it is behaving differently like on ML. when i dial it shows connecting then authenticating. after that i see time all zeroes. but it seem it is frozen and no connection. after half a minute time in menu bar shows like 32 secs and counting up. then connection is working.

Hi , i am using Macbook pro(OS X 10.9) . i hav problems with Huawei usb modem , the device not detecting. (device model is E303D) . i installed MobileConnectDriver for Mac Book Air 2013 bt still not working. 😟

hi. try going to network prefs. and add interface. it worked for me that way on 10.8 with previous driver. on 10.9 i did upgrade from 10.8.

Thanks a lot! I tested on MacBook 2011 and it also works! Previously I was frustrated. I used a free Wi-FI to search the internet and came across this thread.

I use Huawei E1750 USB modem (very old model). It seems that this driver is quite universal for Huawei modem. I upgraded from Mac OS X 10.6.8 to Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
