Keychain errors

Hi

Everytime I open a keychain entry I get a lot of these error messages.

27.10.13 08:37:31.100 secd[604]: SecErrorGetOSStatus unknown error domain: com.apple.security.sos.error for error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.security.sos.error error 2 - Public Key not available - failed to register before call)

27.10.13 08:37:31.100 secd[604]: securityd_xpc_dictionary_handler Keychain Access[48876] DeviceInCircle The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.security.sos.error error 2 - Public Key not available - failed to register before call)

What can it be?

Or better how to fix it?

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9), Server Profile Manager Payloads

It looks like the process is a per user-session daemon. it's plist is in:

/System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.secd.plist

I suppose it's part of the iCloud keychain subsystem. I'd file a bug.

Do youi have the iCloud Keychain set up?

If so is your iCloud keychain working?

I don't use it.

I haven't even type in the data for the iCloud account in the settings.

It's not easy to find out without any doku.

Here someone had a solution for him. In my case it doesn't work.

Re: Failed to verify the preflight file. It is not signed by Apple.

But I have also some Apple certificates, that are marked as certificates which are from an unknown instance.

APSP certificates for example. Really strange.

I'm getting the same error as Krzysztof. Following are the conditions:

OS X 10.9

No iCloud keychain has been set up.

Certificates are all valid.

Keychain Access.app/Preferences/Certificates Best attempt, Best attempt, OCSP.

The error is triggered upon opening Keychain Access.app as shown below.

I was lead to this error because keychains created using

/usr/bin/security create-keychain -p 'temporaryPassword' MyKeychain.keychain

are not visible in Keychain Access.app

Following are the error records thrown when opening Keychain Access.app:

/Applications/Utilities/Keychain\ Access.app/Contents/MacOS/Keychain\ Access & \tail /var/log/system.log
