I have installed mavericks, my printer HP deskjet 9300 can only print black, I can't print colours anymore.

I had this problem too with the generic printer driver but have managed to find a deskjet series driver in the list available when adding a printer - colours printing again now.

In the list of available printers the HP deskjet 9300 is not mentioned that is why I choice the generic printer who prints black only.
Did you have also a deskjet HP 9300?
If yes which driver did you choice?
If not, one question did you install the same driver as your printer our another one?

I do have a deskjet 9300.
I reset my printer, then added a new one - it found the DJ9300 as a usb printer, then, instead of the selecting generic one (which only prints in black and white), I went to the list of printer drivers, scrolled down to one called HP Deskjet Series and chose that one, which seems to be working fine so far.
