Canon mg6360 Airprint

After upgrading to Mavericks on my 2009 iMac everything worked, especially my Canon MG6360 Airprint printer. I upgraded my Retina 13" MacBook Pro and the MBP doesn't see the printer. Connecting via USB is no problem and via USB everything works - except connecting via Airprint. Weird that the iMac works but not the MBP. Any ideas?

I cant find the IP address, it seems to only be connected via Bonjour. I printed the settings for the printer from the printer and IPv4 & IPv6 are both empty but there is a Bonjour Service Name.

I use this computer at work and there are other problems so I am going to do a reinstall of Mavericks to see if the other problems are fixed as well.

Thanks for your help.

It will most likely have an IPv4 address. Bonjour requires it to have one in order for it to function. Not sure why you are seeing nothing set in the settings page.

You can use Bonjour to connect to the internal web page. You could type the Bonjour Service Name into a web browser followed by .local. For example

http://CanonMG6360.local

You can also enable the Bonjour browser function in Safari by opening its Preferences and selecting the Advanced tab. Here you will see a Bonjour section where you can enable Bonjour in the Favorites bar. You can then select the Bonjour bookmark and check if the MBP can see the MG6360.

So if the MG still does not appear in the Add printer browser after the reinstallation then try the above.
