New Macbook air 11' not letting me download OS X Mavericks?

I have a macbook air and its all up to date, I bought it yesterday. Everything is up to date but I am finding it difficult to download OS X Mavericks, it says its downloading everytime then 20 mins later it says 'error has occured'? PLEASE HELP ME!
