Graphical glitches after installing mavericks

I have a MBA 2012

After I´ve installed Mav I get random glitches with the graphics. I have re-booted several times. I occurs both in dual screen use as normal laptop use. Sometimes its only in the dock but some times all over the screen as in the attached picture... Is there any solution or fix? Does anyone else have the same issue?

First of all, my issue with the Mac Pro looks totally different than the screenshots posted here. It was more of a flickering effect, where parts of the screen have been drawn a second time at the lower part of my ACD 23" and reappeared for a split second, as soon as I did something with my mouse. It was not steady, but started when you used the computer. Therefore it looks indeed like a graphic card issue.

Second, I did something since I posted my issue above and it seems to have fixed it so far. I wanted to wait a little to be sure about that. I switched the display port connectors around. Before my NEC PA241W was hooked up in port 1 using a display port adapter and my ACD 23" was in the port 2 with the normal ACD connector. I switched both around, just to see if the effect would come up on the PA241W as well. It didn't.

So far so good but strange anyway. Something clearly must be wrong with certain graphic card setups in Mavericks, no doubt about that. My machine was running silky smooth for years with several OS X versions.

Facing similar problems (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5504469?answerId=23593051022#23593051022). I had no such difficulities prior to my Mavericks install, so I guess it has something to do with incompatabilities with the graphics card. I hope they will come up with a quick solution, working on your MBP with these display glitches is not possible.

I've also been noticing some issues on my mid 2010 15". They always seem to occur when the computer is on integrated graphics, but I have seen plenty of people post with the reverse scenario. That said, I can usually fix it by forcing it to discreet and then back with gfxCardStatus. That said, I really hope this is fixed in 10.9.1.

My point is that I performed some GL Benchmark, and it turns out that ML gives me around 260 fps, while Mavericks no more than 205 fps. Then I had no choice but to go back to ML; after that, I've performed a Mavericks clean install on an external USB drive (noticing of course all of the above) as a test, hoping that future updates will solve the situation (in that case I will upgrade again my Mountain Lion main install).

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro. I just woke it from sleep and saw the exact same thing that Lpavs posted in her screenshot...that weird shadowing off to the sides of open windows (I also noticed some glitchyness in some of my Dashboard widgets). I followed Scorch07's suggestion and toggled between graphics cards using gfxCardStatus (integrated to discrete) and the issue, immediately, went away. It still begs the question of why it happened in the first place. I've been running Mavericks for almost a week, now, and this is the first time any graphics issues have presented themselves.
