Q: Wrong Apple ID when trying to update apps

Just got the new iPhone 5s and I can't update apps. It keeps asking for my sons apple id. I've tried signing out and then back in but it is still not working. What else can I do?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.3

Hi Tracey,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

If one or more apps on your iPhone 5s were downloaded or purchased with your son's Apple ID, you would need to sign in with that Apple ID to update the app.

Otherwise, you would delete the app, and sign into the iTunes store with your own Apple ID to redownload the free apps or purchase the apps you want on your account.
