After update from snow leopard to Mavericks, iPhoto 9.2.3 stopped to open, says with this OS X can't be used, please help..

Problem is done! Just downloaded iphoto 9.4.3 from http://support.apple.com/downloads/#consumersoftware
and everyting is work perfectly!

I have upgraded to Maverick and I have the same problem with my iphoto 9.2.1 and I am trying to update iPhoto (and iMovie) but after a few minutes I get a red error message and the download stops. Help Please!
What is the exact red error message?

In red print it says "an error has occured" next to the box which has revereted to "update". A window also popped up saying "iphoto failed to download. Use the purchase page to try again" I have tried this at least 20 times and the same thing keeps happening. I hope you have some good news for me.
