How can I copy my emails to a disk?
I would like to copy my emails to a disk. How can I do this?
Would I be able to reopen them later and add a few back onto the computer again?
Thank you!

Depends on OSX version, but...
On Mail...
First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder..

Hi,
I was able to find the Mail folder, compress it and copy it to a disk. I don't see a mail downloads folder in the Finder. Is that okay?
This procedure went very smoothly. Thanks.
Is that okay?

Thanks, have a great week.
