I have another problem with Mail - but your idea looks like a possible solution for this.
If I may ask - how do you think your problem came from not having the right TLS cert.?
Did you look it up with connection doctor and saw something like 'no authenticate'?
Have you tried to manually accept the certifcate within keychain?
My Mail doesn work properly and I heard that is solution (Preferences, accounts, ssl and I should have a TLS certificate to choose). At this mament in Keychain acces I "trusted" two certificates which I have but I don't know thats the right certificates
I think I should have certificates from my mail account provider or Apple but I don't know how sounds host name to get certificates with Certificate Assistant
I did the same thing with the certifactes in keychain - and everything was fine with it.
Can you describe your problem with more details? What is your mail provider? What account type do you have - POP or IMAP? Can you receive mails or do you get an error? Can you send mails? Does your mail account connect to the server?
My mail provider is wirtualna polska. Problem is with IMAP. I can' receive and send emails. Mail cannot connect to the server.
But i heard that the email provider has problem and it isn't Mail 7.0 fault- I'll be waiting for provider response
