Anyone can help on this? My system is Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks. The windows system on the bootcamp is Windows 8.1. Everything was working fine before I updated os to Mavericks.

OK, I finally figured out how to solve this problem.

I found out I can still set my BootCamp as startup disk on System Preference-> Startup Disk utility. After reboot, I can boot into my windows system.

But then the problem is I can't boot back to the Mac system. Holding the "option" key during start up won't give me the boot menu. It just started the windows system right away. Then I found the trick in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3273 : Press and hold the Command + Option + P + R keys while the startup chime is playing (even though I'm not using wireless keyboard), Finally I got the boot menu back.

Hope this can help someone.
