I down interviews. Starting in September some, even those where the website says "download to open in itunes" will download in my Windows download function, store in "temp" file, but will not open in itunes. I cannot manually open them in itunes.

Starting in September 2013 many of the radio interviews I typically download to itunes would - download normally to my PC, - exist just as before in the "temp" folder, - but will not transfer or open in itunes. They will play in Windows Media. I cannot drag them in, I cannot "add file" succesfully. I just upgraded to itunes 11, although I doubt my old Ipod will support it. Despite upgrading to 11, there is no improvment. Their type in the temp folder is MPEG layer 3 audio (.mp3). The one that did transfer is the same. Oh darn! Now, possibly related to a Windows update, all the mp3 files that are in the "downloads" list (upper right hand corner of screen) will not "open containing folder", I cannot find them in the temp file and a search does not find them either. What ? The downloaded PDF files are there though.

iPod classic, Windows 7
