I bought two 4GB sticks of 1600 Mhz memory but the Apple support site says use 10600 Mhz http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4805. Does it matter if the ram has a higher mhz than what is recommended?
Where did you buy the RAM? Most vendors list per model (i.e. OWC lists: Speed: PC3-10600)
So, I would not use the 1600 Mhz sticks)
Thanks Tony T1, some forums said that higher speed ram would not damage the computer as the ram will just clock down to the 1333 MHz. Does anyone know if this is true?
(2011) Mini is slower now i have 2gb ram, should i upgrade?
