Volume within a track in garageband

you're thinking of an auomation curve. turn it on from above the track headers, then you can adjust the volume line in a track

I have the same issue.. On the ipad version of gb and wanting to adjust volume inside tracks... Any chance solutions?

What to do is touch the instrument/track picture/symbol of the instruments. Then click automations. After that you switch on editing and move the volume dots around. If you do this you cannot change the track volume manually!
