icons missing

I'm trying to find out this same question!!!

Me too. Since Mavericks update my calendar icon won't stay in the task bar? I have to keep going to launchpad.

Try this command in Terminal:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db ; killall Dock
