How do I block unwanted contacts with iCloud?

1. Filter email automatically (this will move email to trash)

   Setup a filter to move the unwanted email address to the Trash Folder

2. Erase messages immediately and permanently (this will empty trash)
   1. You can have iCloud Mail permanently and immediately erase messages when you delete them, instead of storing them in the Trash for 30 days.
   2. Choose Preferences from the Action pop-up menu in the sidebar.
   3. In the General pane, deselect “Move deleted messages to,” then click Done.
3. Create a mail alias (this will cause the original sender to receive an error message, and overtime stop sending you emails)

   Setup a new rule to forward the unwanted email address to a random mail alias address eg: unknown.sender2015@icloud.com

Sorry this is like a year later... LOL.. Hoping someone knows.... If I do the above (#3 - FWD to a random alias), will I still get a copy to my real email address that the person intended to send me? Thank you in advance!
