How to completely uninstall HP driver if uninstaller option is not available

Please someone can guide me the process of uninstalling HP driver without the uninstaller option. Should I just delete the HP folder inside the Apps folder? I think there is a proper procedure for this....I am having an issue with my HP scanhet G3110, it fails to open the device's session...the first driver was installed from the CD which I should have not done it. That might be the reason why I am having this problem, no option for uninstallation and have tried already overiding the old driver with the latest driver but there's no option for uninstalling it.

HI antswork.

Thank you for you inquiry. You are correct when you state, that just dragging the HP folder to the trash does not totally uninstalling it. Inside the HP folder you should have an HP uninstaller, check under device utilities. If you are unable to locate the uninstaller you can still do it. Thanks SparklesJen1,

The uninstaller won't run because of the missing plugins. Uninstaller.plugin and other plugins. I did accidentally installed the driver intended for 10.5 OS on my macpro mid 2010 running Lion which I should not have done. Since I can not uninstall it, I tried using CleanApp. Then Installed the driver intended for Lion then update with the later OS then the patch update, but still scanner won't open. My hp scanner works perfectly with the bootcamp and with my macbookpro mid 2012 because i did not install the driver from the CD. Now I got the Uninstaller option back after the installation of the later driver but still the problem is I am getting the error saying Uninstaller.plugin, UninstallSelectDevice.plugin, UninstallProress.plugin, UninstallCleanup.plugin, Summary.plugin, are missing but when I tried to show the package content of the Uninstaller, those plugins are available inside the plugin folder. Hi antswork: Thank you for your patience. I have located a manual uninstall document for a scanner. The OS will not be the same but you should be able to follow it to completely remove the scanner.

I hope this helps
