Tags...Love and hate

Hi,

Ik was happy to start using tags(metadata) for files and folders. But I'm really annoyed with how they are updated.

I have 10 pdf's correctly tagged. But when opening, and saving them (not save as, but plainly save), they loose all their tags. This cannot be the way they should work because I can't start with retagging all files after opening and saving...just to much time expensive.

Any help or should I contact Apple?
