Dec 3, 2013 2:11 PM in response to seb101by -Txemi-,There are about 10 times a day I wish we had Steve Jobs back and fire the guy in charge of fixing this bug.
It's about 10 times a day that I need to turn off wifi and turn on again so that my MBA connects back to Wifi after sleep. Really annoying.
I combine this with my iPhone 4 turning terribly slow after iOS7 upgrade, and I realize how Apple is starting to resemble the Microsoft of their heydays: Ignoring customers except to lock them in. Where is the flawless user experience that made Apple what it is?
Apple, this is not going well AT ALL.
People don't care to be locked with Apple IF, and only IF, "it simply works."
If it doesn't work, I won't trust you again to lock me in, guys.

the only solution is an os x downgrade - back to snow leopard or mountain lion. both worked flawlessly

Dec 8, 2013 10:15 AM in response to seb101by Coldwaraaron,I'm having this problem as well. The only complaint I have about an otherwise amazing 2013 macbook air. Hopefully Apple is working on this.

Dec 8, 2013 11:07 AM in response to Coldwaraaronby Eric Root,Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Dec 8, 2013 12:34 PM in response to Eric Rootby -Txemi-,Thanks Eric,
I did send my feedback too, but I just wonder if these guys at Apple could put a few bucks of the few billions they make in profit every two weeks to actually SUPPORT their customers.
Even small companies have people that read their own community forums and provide support. How is it a company like Apple simply ignore us here in THEIR own community? At least they could acknowledge it and provide a target date for a fix.
It is really annoying. "It simply works" clearly no longer applies to Apple. Times are a changin.

Dec 10, 2013 6:55 AM in response to -Txemi-by tugamac,Try to remove the password of your network, that solved it for me. If it works you can add a mac filtering rule so that non one can enter in you network.

Dec 10, 2013 10:57 AM in response to tugamacby seb101,WORST ADVICE EVER. Please nobody do this. If you take the encryption password off your network you will be exposing all your internet traffic to anyone within range of your network. MAC address spoofing is the easiest trick in the book.

Dec 10, 2013 10:58 AM in response to seb101by seb101,Every solution posted on here so far is a workaround and a bad workaround at that - it either disables some other feature or requires additional hardware etc. Apple need to address this problem, fast.

Dec 10, 2013 1:04 PM in response to tugamacby vincenzoP,WHAAAAAAAT????? Mac address only on a free wireless? Ever heard of MITM?

Dec 10, 2013 1:27 PM in response to vincenzoPby eakinm2,As I have asked before. What's wrong with purchasing a USB wifi from Amazon for $10 - $15 and using it until this gets fixed. It's clear that Apple can't or won't be fixing this for awhile as it has been 9 - 10 months now. A small expenditure for no hassle.

Dec 10, 2013 1:33 PM in response to eakinm2by eakinm2,Excuse me. I meant USB Bluetooth and us the native wifi.
