email wont work

Everytime I use my ipod touch my email won't work as my accounts tell me that the user name or password is incorrect.

This is wrong - I have re-entered all my details and still it says the same thing.


It was working fine up until mid summer last year, and since then, I have not changed any settings on the ipod or my other email devices....


Searching the web brings up an exhaustive list saying 're-enter your details and POW it works'.


It doesnt.


Anyone have any advice?

Can access email on computer at home but nothing on this at all. Reluctant to change password on device for fear of confusing issue and rendering email unusable on another device!

It seems that the ipod is trying to send mail from one account even though im using a different account. Even when I switch between the two accounts, it stil comes up with the same problem.

It must be an ipod issue.

Any ideas?

You can try:

- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.



However, before restoring to factory settings/new iPod I would change the password.
