How do I revert or add alternate browser manually!


My Macbook Pro is now an island! What good is it!


My windows machine is where I'm adding this comment from!

If you have email access on the MBP, the following Terminal command will download Firefox to your user Home folder... Copy the whole line, from c at the start of curl, to the g in dmg & then paste into Terminal & press enter. Wait until the download completes before closing Terminal. You can then open the dmg & use Firefox from there, or drag it to /Applications.


curl -O http://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/24.0/mac/en-US/Firefox%2024.0.dmg


Once you have a browser - a common problem has been an outdated Glims Safari add-on

How do I uninstall Glims?
