Photo sharing working on iphone but not on iPhoto?

Hello

I have subscribed to a photo stream created with a friend of mine. I can post photos on it using the Iphone, and both me and my friend can see the pics I post in it on our iphones. We can't however see the pics I post on our Iphoto's on macbooks. We both see there only the photo she posts, being the owner of the photo stream. Is there a way to fix this?
