server 3 does not configure

Hi all,

I tried to update to Mavericks OSX and server 3, coming from an fully funktional Mountain Lion OSX with server 2.2 running domain master.

Since then OSX Mavericks starts but the server does not.

Clicking the server 3 app it asks for a administrator name and password but then quits with the notification that it could not connect to "the" server.

What does this error mean *exactly*?

How can this be fixed?

Any help is greatly appreciated.I am stuck for 2 days now and need the server badly.
