Anyone having trouble sending group emails in Maverick?

Since installing Maverick the Apple email program is not recognizing information from Contacts when I try to send a group email. Can anyone help?

Hi Stephen,

I'm also having trouble sending a group email since installing Maverick.

One of my groups has about 175 members. I usually send a periodical email using Bcc.

When I tried to send one this evening and clicked on my "Bands" list it appeared not to display. Yet the other two groups I have displayed as they used to.

However, I am informed that the Bcc mail did send - although I have no recollection of this happening.

I would say to Apple If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Change is not always for the better.

I'm having the same problem too. Ever since we updated to Mavericks, I can't send group messages. My son in his computer has this problem as well. I have lists of Friends, Family, family and friends, Co-worker, etc. Some of my list are very large for me to put their addresses individually. I use BCC and for some reason this has stopped working once I try to add them manualy with the "+" sign or by typing the group name. The list don´t appear in the display anymore once I Have chosen the group or pressed enter after Apple Mail trying to guess my group name

I have checked this also in my wife's computer and it is the same problem.

Please Apple Fix this soon!

PD: In the mean time, I will be using the Icloud.com version of Mail. This one is working for now.

I have found that, at least sometimes, when I type in the group name and send, the emails are still being sent even though the individual addresses are not showing up on my own email. Not optimum, but better than nothing.

Like others, I am finding that some groups show up, others don't. When I have time, I guess I'll have to remove groups and redo. Can't keep waiting for Apple.

I have exactly the same problem. When I type in the name of the group nothing happens. But, even worse, when I start to type in the names of individuals in the group (there are only 6) their full name appears as usual in blue underneath, but when I click on the blue version, instead of the full version appearing as normal in the address bar nothing happens. Something evil has happened to the links between Mail and Contacts.

Ahhhhh! Same issue happening here. Can't drag and drop group contacts into the BCC field (or any field for that matter) Also tried typing in group names in the field...no go.

My business is suffering without the ability to drag group contatcs into Mail. Right now it's faster to hand-write a letter, put a stamp on it and send it that way versus sending 350 separate emails to each of the group contact members.

Apple. Please help. Pleaseeeeeeee.

Same problem here after the upgrade I can't select a group from my contacts to send a group email to. I use to be able to double click on the group name and the mail program would put the address into the To or BBC fields. I have not found a way to make it work. Clicking on the plus sign in the To or BBC field still does not allow me to select the group. Bummer, hope Apple gets this figured out.
