Couple things... If you're playing through the software so you can use its built-in effects, you'll want to go into your Logic app prefs. Under audio, set the buffers as low as you can without clicksin the audio. This will reduce latency - the delay caused by the amount of time it takes your bass signal to travel through the I/O hardware and software processing. Some of the Logic effects, like Adaptive Limiter, introduce a level of latency that makes it impossible to play through them in real time. The compressor, EQ and bass amp work very well for what you're trying to do. You can further reduce latency by enabling Low Latency Mode under the Record menu. I'd start with the Bass Amp modeler and Pedalboard and see where that takes you. If you're loking to use this as a live rig, look at Main Stage. It's a separate Apple program - campatible with Logic - that's oriented toward live performance, as opposed to recording.
