SeagategoflexHD wont work after OSX Mavericks install

I haven't gotten an answer to my question about my thunderbolt external HD not being detected after installing OSX Mavericks. so I'm re-posting.

Has anybody come across this problem? I have everything backed up on my HD with time machine but I cant even restore because my SeagateGoflexHD wont power up.

If anybody can provide advice that would be awesome
