I am looking to buy a new back glass for my iphone 4. My carrier is verizon and some of the replacement glasses specify if they are verizon or at&t and some are just general. Does it actually matter what the replacement glass says for a carrier? Will it effect my service or how it fits on my phone?

Apple will replace the back glass for $30. You can try elsewhere, and their glass won't affect your service.
Do you have an Apple link that states that Carl??? If so I would LOVE to have it for my use 🙂
On the Apple website, go to support, and click on iPhone. You'll see a selction of areas of general interest, and one will be similar to "repair". Within that, there will be something similar to "non-warranty repair", and that provides more detail and costs.
