Should i go for apple protection plan for the new iphone i got under warranty

Dear all,

I have a problem with my power button and it got replaced with a new one ,

i only have 7 days left for my warranty should i really go for this protection plan and

extend one more year (I am thinking because its a bit costly its almost 10 percent of the phones cost)

Appreciate your help in providing your view
