iMovie and multiple iPhoto libraries

Is it possible to use iMovie 10 with more than one iPhoto Library? I have 3 macs on my home network and each have a number of Aperture/iPhoto libraries on them, but I am only able to see the library on the mac on which I'm using iMovie. Is there a way to access the contents of the other libraries?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), 3.4GHz i7, 24GB RAM, AMD 6970M 2GB

have 20,000 photos in iphoto. just starting to organize into separate libraries as recommended by Apple tech support. can't figure out how to view the different libraries in imovie. is it possible? or does imovie just open up the most recent library that was opened in iphoto??
