Question is it possible to have cables for ipod touch 5generation and the ipad mini to view movies on t.v.?
I can use av cables on my ipad2 to view movies on tv. So when we travel can watch on hotel t.v.s Is this possible with the ipad mini with the lightning cable? and the new iPad Air?

So I have tried on the ipod touch 5th generation. I bought the 30pin to lightning adapter and used my 30 pin av cable. It didn't seem to work. I will try it on my daughter's ipad mini when she gets home from school today. I went to best buy and purchased two cables hoping it would work....!!
U need the lightning digital av adapter plus hdmi cord to show your movie on tv or an apple tv
I think I got the wrong cable. When I hooked up the lightning to 30 pin adapter and 30 pin digital av adapter and HDMI cable . . . . ipad mini said accessories don't work. Off to Best Buy again.
TV output on ipad mini.
