Why can't I hold the command key to select multiple items in the new iWork?

It's just one of the many, many features that have been removed. Leave feedback for the Pages team using the link in the Pages menu.

If it is floating objects you can select them as ever. The feature of selecting text in different parts of the document has gone.

I mean WHAT??!!

This Pages "upgrade" is a tragedy. Many of my heavy documents just no longer open the way they are supposed to. It's literally many hundreds of hours of work messed up.

And then, this top it all: cannot even multi-select items!

Come on Apple ! Do not deliver iPad standard to iMac users.

I am SO upset right now.

I feel bad for all those people I talked into moving to iWork.
