How can I download all new episodes of a podcast?

The Podcasts app on the phone (iOS 7.0.3), and the podcasts section of iTunes (11.1.2) seem much better with the latest updates. One of my podcasts (Science Friday) releases several new episodes on the same day. iTunes allows me to either download the most recent episode, or all episodes. What I want is the ability to download all *new* messages. Is there a way to do that?

I am worried that telling it to download all episodes is going to pull down hundreds of episodes, but I want more than just one of the new episodes!
