Missing Sync over USB
Hello!
When I read in a forum, that with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks iTunes can't sync the iPhone with USB cable anymore, I thought that has to be a bug. I couldn't imagine that Apple would prevent / hinder Users to sync their iOS devices over USB cable, especially when you sit in front of your Mac and are most times charging it over USB connected to the Mac.
I am very disappointed in the now missing choice of means of sync for all data.
Or am I missing something?
Is there a possiblity to sync data between a Mac and an iPhone over iTunes (USB) with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks?
I am the only one using my Mac Pro and my iPhone.
I don't need over the air / Internet syncing for most personal data.
It's absurd to have a data cable connected to my computer,
but to be forced to sync the data over the internet.
I don't want to share more informations than necessary over the Internet or / and iCloud, especially seeing the news of the last weeks and months! :-(
Also many big companies like Amazon, Sony, Valve and others had problems with hackers in the recent past.
Security, my data cap of my mobile provider and control of my data are important to me. Considering all that, even I trust Apple very much, Apple can't promise security of data saved in iCloud.
To have the choice to sync things over iCloud is fantastic.
To be forced to sync things only over iCloud / Internet is worrying and disturbing.
I demand therefore for Apple to restore the possiblity to sync my personal data over USB Cable and losing the constraint to sync only over the Internet
Before that, I can't Update to Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks and will go on using Mac OS X 10.8
