When on my calendar I can't add events the + sign is not available for me to click. Where as on my friends phone which is the same and the settings are the same he can add events but I can't? Why is this?

Hmmm, your calendar doesn't think you're popular enough to have events.... :p j/k. Try a hard reset (hold both buttons until the phone restarts). Let me know if that works.
Check your Restrictions. Settings > General > Restrictions

No such thing as a 'hard reset'. Just a 'reset'.
your funny! 1st thing I tried didn't work..
Again tried that..still not letting me. Any other ideas? Thank you in advance :)
Try a Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This doesn't delete anything off of the phone (except wi-fi passwords, Bluetooth pairing and your background image).
Done that. It's loading Facebook events and everything but still not letting me add on any of my own events/reminders :/
On another thread a few apoplectic said that closing all open apps solved the issue. Idk why that would work but it has for some. Other than that check settings and see if it's turned on in iCloud or go to settings> mail contacts an calendars> shared calendar alerts. That's all I got.
