Q: eMac (2002, 1st Release) PSU Question

Okay, so I have a first gen eMac (Identified by the serial ending in "N9K") From what I can tell it's sparking issue is the PSU, I went on eBay to look for a PSU but I'm not entirely sure which one to use.

Hi, not sure of this, but I have a hard time believing that 2nd one is for an eMac! You see the AC plug & square box front... how would that fit the curves of an eMac?

The first one looks a bit like 922-5067 Down Converter on 3rd to last page of  the eMac Repair PDF, but not sure about that either, And I'm not sure how the power cord would fit it.

 

Have you opened yours yet & had a look?

    I have not had time yet to open it up, I was just trying to find what I needed in the event i need to replace any components, I will open it up tomorrow however, I'll take pictures of the power supply and post them here.

     

    As always thank you for your help BDAqua, I know this computer will be back up and running soon!

    If you were nearby, I'd give tou a working eMac or two, the Hard Disks & Optical drives have died, but they can still boot from external drives!
