Will my iphone 5s brought online from apple (UK) lock to the first sim inserted?

I realise many simlar questions have been asked but I've heard it depends on what country you're in. I have an iphone 5s brought online from Apple 'SIM-FREE'. I went to an EE shop and got a nano sim so I could move my contract across to my new 'SIM-FREE' iphone. Will this mean the Iphone is now locked to EE? I Thought it may have as the phone requires a sim to work.
