How can i add my hotmail account to the Macbook Pro Retina (Late 2013)?

It does not have an option to just choose Hotmail, like the iPhones have. I know i can just add another account but this doesnt work because when i delete a message it doesnt delete them troughout all my accounts. This must be a bug becuase the iPhone has it.
