There doesn't seem to be any problem there, I was checking to make sure there wasn't 73GB of "Other".
Try adding only part of your library at any time, until you have all the library on your iPod. This way, if there is something which is causing iTunes to freeze, perhaps we can narrow it down and work out what it is.
As you use Sync to manage the iPod, this is fairly easy.
- In iTunes, when the iPod is connected, look on the Device/Music pane and choose Sync Selected Playlists, artsist etc.
- On the first Sync, choose only a few of the artist, or genres, or whatever you prefer.
- If that goes well, try a second Sync, adding a few more of the artists etc.
- Repeat until you either successfully put everything on your iPod or iTunes freezes.
- f iTunes freezes, try and work out wht you were adding at that time. SPlit up the Sync to a smaller section in order to narrow doewn the problem.
- If it all goes well, try changing the Sync option back to Sync everything.
Alternatively, if iTunes freezes before you can make your first selection (i.e. step 2), try unticking a whole genre in iTunes and then Sync the iPod. To untick a complete genre in one step, look at the Songs view (which allows you to pick a section of your Library), and in the Songs view chosoe a genre (for example), hold down the CTRL key and click on any one of the boxes to the left of the song titles. All tick boxes shown will untick. Use CTRL and click in a box to turn all those ticks back on. To test this for yourself, if you choose a list with only a small number of songs in it, and try the CTRL/click, you will see how this works.
