I only got my iphone the other day and downloaded a few games, this morning i downloaded iOS7 only to see all of them gone, i found a few in games centre and the others through spotlight but is there a way to return them to the home screen?

Try scrolling right a few times. Sometimes they end up orphaned on a separate page.
To move them, hold your finger on one of the app until they all begin to jiggle. Then hold the app you want to move and drag it to the page where you want it to reside.
