Help i cant download twitter anymore on ipod touch 2g

I downloaded it yesterday and it asked me that i have to download the lower version of the software and so i did and it worked amazing but today i deleted and tried to install it again but it said i needed IOS5. Please help how can i re-install the apps i deleted
